IC2MS 2017, 1st Edition

Organized by the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Brawijaya University, Malang, Indonesia. This conference was held on November 4-5, 2017, at Ijen Suites Resort & Convention, Malang, Indonesia, marking the first edition of IC2MS. Participants came from various countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and several European countries, focusing on research in the fields of chemistry and materials. 

Theme: Advancing to The Frontier of Innovation in Chemistry and Material Science

IC2MS 2019, 2nd Edition

Organized by the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Brawijaya University, Malang, Indonesia. This conference took place on November 2-3, 2019, at Savana Hotel, Malang. Participants from Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, the United States, South Korea, and several European countries.

Theme: Advancing to the Frontier of Innovation in Chemistry and Material Science 

IC2MS 2021, 3rd Edition

Organized by the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, Malang, Indonesia. This conference was held online on October 12-13, 2021, due to the COVID-19 era.Open to international participants, with many attendees from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, as well as European and American countries. The conference theme focused more on nanomaterials and functional materials.

Theme: Innovation on Material Science for Sustainable Industrial Chemistry. 

IC2MS 2022, 4th Edition

Organized by the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Malang, Malang, Indonesia. This year, UiTM officially joined as a consortium member of the IC2MS conference. The conference was held on November 8-9, 2022, at Savana Hotel, Malang. Participants from Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, the United States, and several European countries. Many research presentations focused on biomaterials and new technologies in material processing.

Theme: The Role of Chemistry, Material, and Biomaterial Sciences in Sustainable Development Goals 

IC2MS 2023, 5th Edition

Organized by the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Brawijaya University, Malang, Indonesia. This conference was held on October 11-12, 2023, at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama Hotel. Participants from various countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, China, South Korea, and European countries. The conference focused on the development of innovative materials and technological applications in industry.

Theme: Post Pandemic Challenges: Role of Chemistry and Material Science 

IC2MS 2024, 6th Edition

Organized by the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, Jember, Indonesia. The conference will be held on September 25-26, 2024, at Soetardjo Hall, University of Jember. Participants from Indonesia and abroad, including researchers, academics, and practitioners from countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, and European countries. This year's conference will focus on sustainable materials and new technologies in the field of chemistry.

Theme: Sustainable Chemistry and Material Sciences for a Better Life
